`Sounds like bed bugs. They are a real big problem all across the U.S.. And no... it's not a cleanlyness problem. Bed bugs infest even the most cleanlyest people. Very nasty little bugs, and very hard to get rid of, especially if you live in a apartment or duplex. I wouldn't get any new furniture until you've dealt with the whole problem either, since they can eventually infest all your furniture.
